Impromptu Portrait of Newark
In 2011, I was granted to be part of the artist in residence studio program of Gallery Aferro. It was a unique opportunity that I had to develop my artwork. I created a series of works that I have never imaging to accomplish and conceptually it brought me to the next level. I explored freely new techniques, I learnt about architecture, history, social issues, and about the complexity of the city of Newark.
